spinoglenoid notch ( RID1869 )
This nicely demonstrates acute denervation edema without atrophy of the infraspinatus muscle due to compression of the suprascpular nerve by the spinoglenoid ganglion, which is really a paralabral cyst. In this case, the small posterosuperior labral tear (arrow in slide 5) visible only in the BLO (biceps labral oblique) plane, which is not uncommon, in my experience. The BLO also optimally images the infraspinatus tendon, as it is in plane with the tendon throughout its course.
